Puffy’s Day on the Green Land
One bright morning Puffy fell from his bed, which was a giant cloud in the sky, to a place with Greenland. He was very scared and was not sure of how he was going to get back up to the land where every thing is pretty and there is never any bad weather. Will, while he was trying to figure out where he was at, and how he was going to get back to his bed on the cloud, he went out and searched to find what was all on this part of the land below. He came to place where it looked like mini cars were racing in a circle. He decided to go and search on the track to see what was going on. While he was searching for what was going on, he ended up standing in the middle of the track, and was run into by the racecars. When the car hit him, he fell backwards on his behind and got dirty.
Eventually, Puffy figured out that he better not stand in the middle of the track, or he would get hurt. So, as he started to walk off the track, he notices a sign that says, "Welcome to South Dakota." Puffy had been taught how to read in school when he was younger, so he knew what the sign said. He turned around and there was a sign saying, "Welcome to Wyoming." Puffy kept walking farther into South Dakota and came to a campsite in the Black Hills. This campsite had a very large swimming pool that was filled with many children.
Well, because Puffy was already dirty from the track he thought that he would go and take a bath before he got in the pool. Now this pool was very neat, it had a waterfall and a slide. So, since Puffy had to take a bath before he could get into the pool, he decided to go start looking for a place to take a bath. Finally, he came to an outdoor shower where he quickly took a bath. When he finally got done taking a bath, he returned to the pool. He swam until the pool closed and then decided to continue traveling farther into South Dakota.
Eventually, he came to the Missouri River where he could go swimming because the river was like the size of a swimming pool to him. Beings the weather in the Black Hills was so warm, he decided that he would go swimming not only to cool himself off, but he wanted to have a little fun beings this might be the only chance he has for a long time to have fun and go swimming. While Puffy was swimming, he was disturbed by what he thought was a little boat. But the boat kept hitting him over and over.
Finally he decided that he would turn around and see why this thing kept poking him. Well he found out it was not a boat, but a tree, who was called Old Willow. Old Willow said hello to Puffy and Puffy was kind of scared because he was getting tired and wanted to get home back to Cloud land so that he could go back to sleep in his cloud bed, and the next day see all of his friends. Old Willow told him he knew of lots of people from Cloud Land and that they all had returned home by going back the way that Puffy came from and going till he finds some big steps (these steps look like Mountains so us) and so Puffy went back the way he came in a big hurry to get home for he wanted to be at home with his family. Well finally Puffy came to the big steps, but he thought that even himself being a tall cloud man couldn’t get up those steps easily, but when he came closer he found that it wasn’t as high of steps. Puffy returned home in no time and was in his nice, soft, cloud bed. Puffy knew that he would never forget his trip to Greenland and that he hoped one day he could go there again.
